I've been sending out the following invitation to local businesses, especially pet-related ones...within a beautiful Scott Lewis Greeting Card -- the one with his dog Syrrus pictured on the front...I just thought I should send it out to the onliners too!

Buddy Dog Fundraiser -- Sip, Shop & Support
Hello! I am writing to invite you to an event I’m planning to benefit Buddy Dog Animal Shelter of Sudbury, MA. Details as follows:
What: Buddy Dog – Sip, Shop & Support Fundraiser- This month we’re donating 20% of sales to Buddy Dog, a local not-for-profit animal welfare organization giving a new lease on life to impounded and homeless dogs and cats.
When: Saturday, April 19th, 2008 2-4pm
Where: Gordon’s Liquors / 894 Main Street / Waltham, MA / 02451
Please come by and enjoy a free wine-tasting, sales by local vendors and a prize raffle. 100% of ticket sales from the prize raffle will be donated to Buddy Dog!
We will also collect supplies to support the care given to these furry friends by Buddy Dog. You are encouraged to bring collars, leashes, toys, Science Diet dry food, cat litter, blankets and more (info@mdesignboutique.com for full “Wish List”).
Come taste some wine while shopping local vendor booths! Each vendor will donate 20% of every sale to Buddy Dog, who will also have a table set up with information about adoptions, volunteer opportunities and Buddy Dog’s mission.
If you would like to make a donation to the prize raffle, or include “goodies” in our goodie bags in quantities of 50 (coupons, etc are a great donation!)…please contact me, Melissa Fouch. I am organizing this event, as a vendor and animal lover!
